The 2010 Super League Malaysia was the 7th season of the highest Malaysian football league since its inception in 2004. Fourteen teams participated in the league, eleven state teams and three club teams, with Selangor FA as the defending champions. The season began on 9 January 2010 and ended on 3 August 2010. Selangor defended their title.

The opening match of the season between Negeri Sembilan FA and Selangor also doubled up as the Malaysia Charity Shield. Selangor FA won 2–1.

Teams

PDRM FA was relegated at the end of the 2009 season after finishing in last place. Furthermore, UPB-MyTeam FC and Kuala Muda Naza FC announced their withdrawal from the league after the conclusion of the 2009 season.[1]

The three teams were replaced by 2009 Premier League Malaysia runners-up PBDKT T-Team FC from Terengganu, third-placed Johor FA and fourth-placed Kuala Lumpur FA. Premier League Malaysia champions Harimau Muda A were not promoted after a decision of the FAM.
